DICOM Courses
Merge OEM has been offering DICOM training to its customers and industry partners for over a decade. Presently, a number of classroom based courses are available upon request.

DICOM Essentials – 1 day classroom session offering introductory survey of the standard and quick overview to most common approaches to implementation of standard interface. The course also provides quick review on the current state of DICOM standard and basic introduction to MergeCOM-3 toolkit.

DICOM Refresher – ½ day classroom session offering quick review of supplements and key change proposals introduced in the past 12 months, key clinical workflow implications and benefits to quickly implementing the latest additions to DICOM.

DICOM In Depth – 2 day session providing detailed survey of advanced DICOM objects, implementation of complex workflow, including scheduled radiology workflow. The course also provides overview of specialized DICOM objects specific to various clinical specialties.

DICOM Hands-on Troubleshooting – 1 day classroom session focused on basics of implementing and troubleshooting DICOM connections in the field; Providing review of the most common challenges and techniques for troubleshooting when integrating DICOM interfaces from multiple vendors. Requires “DICOM Essentials” course.
